Opening hours
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- There are different opening hours in the summer holiday and exam period!
About study places and technology in our library...
- 51 study places (more on the ground floor, but seats with plug-ins are on the first floor)
- Couch
- 6 study places with PC (2 PCs with access to the online catalogue on the ground floor, 4 PCs for printing on the first floor)
- Each user of the FA BUT has own account for printing, which must be charged before printing: at our faculty, it is not possible to print with cash charged on the ISIC card (as in canteens or other BUT libraries)
- You can upload the money for printing at the circulation desk in the library
- Money from the printing account can also be used for printing in the Computer Centre in Building B
- Konica Minolta C227 colour multifunction printer - printing and copying formats A4, A3 (reprographic services are self-service)

- We have prepared really detailed instruction sheet for printing (including tips for printing selected types of documents), online preview here
- Copies are paid for separately at the circulation desk: the number and type of copies must be declared
- Prices: A4 B&W: 2 CZK, A4 COL: 6 CZK, A3 B&W: 4 CZK, A3 COL: 12 CZK
- 3 scanners: scanners are available for scanning (scanning on a printer is not possible)
- Scanning is free of charge
- WiFi (you need VUTlogin and VUTpassword)

E-resources (EIRs; on our social sites known as #EIZ)
EIRs (databases) contain a large amount of up-to-date verified information
The EIRs are available through online access:
- From computers on the university network
- Using remote access via a proxy server or the Shibboleth system
- Are also searched by the PRIMO search engine (but not 100%)
